Black & McDonald is seeking a Service Desk Analyst in Markham, ON, to provide first-line IT support on a contract basis. Use your analytical mindset and customer service skills to solve technical issues.
As a pivotal member of the Corporate Service Group, you will troubleshoot hardware and software issues while managing IT service requests. This role requires adherence to ITIL best practices and effective communication with end-users. Your attention to detail and problem-solving abilities will be key in ensuring efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver Level 1 and Level 2 technical support effectively
• Categorize and prioritize tickets in the ITSM system
• Troubleshoot issues with Windows and collaboration tools
• Manage user accounts including access requests
• Contribute to the documentation of knowledge articles
Requirements:
• 1-3 years' experience in Service Desk or IT Support
• Education in IT, Computer Science, or related field
