Job Description
This position is a 12-month contractor role in Calgary, Alberta ; the successful candidate will be onboarded through a third-party contracting agency.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science , or equivalent, and professional registration with APEG or acceptable eligibility.
- Minimum 15 years of Civil and Structural Engineering design experience with an Alberta Oil & Gas Industry Production Company or Engineering Company, including construction support.
- Demonstrated examples of creativity and innovation in addressing engineering design challenges.
- Sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of civil and structural engineering, including:
- earthwork,
- structural steel,
- concrete,
- buildings and foundations (shallow, concrete pile, driven steel pile, and helical pile).
