Job Description
* Own the full accounting control of legal contingencies (labor, tax, and civil), ensuring accurate recognition, measurement, and disclosure.* Partner closely with legal teams to define appropriate accounting treatments and ensure compliance with corporate policies.* Review and interpret quarterly updates to corporate accounting pronouncements, assessing impacts and communicating changes to relevant areas.* Act as the primary point of contact with corporate accounting teams for litigation-related topics.* Prepare and deliver financial reporting and presentations to global stakeholders.* Support forecasting activities, including FX analysis and variance narratives.* Support the Controller in Balance Sheet Review (BSR) and Country Finance Review (CFR).* Review account reconciliations and support issue resolution with controllership and quality teams.* Analyze accounting discrepancies (“fallouts”) identified during the close process.* Manage accounting and financial control of bank guaran...
