Job Description
Inventory control performs a variety of defined tasks and procedures aimed to ensure the effective preservation and integrity of all inventory on hand to minimize loss and maximize accuracy of inventory.
Responsibilities
Cycle counts as well as research and reconciliation of cycle countsResponding to email inquiries and requestsProcess recalls, over ships, damages, short dated, expired & chase tasks for order completion.Assist associates on the warehouse floor with any questions related to inventory controlMay assist sporadically with returns processing (receiving and put away)Drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility may include order picker (cherry picker), forklift, stand up reach truck, turret truck, electric pallet jack, and walkie riderSort, categorize and process various types of waste materials to ensure proper recycling, disposal, or treatment.
