Defining the breeding objectives for the main corn market and making the corresponding breeding plan according to the breeding objectives. Leading the team to carry out corn breeding activities, including corn inbred line development, hybrid creation and yield testing, product advancement and commercialization and etc. Preparing nursery and yield trial experiments. Collecting field notes on key agronomic traits on inbred lines and hybrids. Making assessment of pipeline performance in alignment with market needs. Effectively integrate the DH lines, MAS, GS and data management skills into the breeding program. Developing and deploying new breeding technologies.
