Itinerant Child & Youth Care Worker – Level 7

Hours of Work
Permanent full‑time, 40 hours per week. Work schedule determined by the supervisor. Approximately 41 weeks per year. Location: To be determined based on student needs in the system. Effective date: ASAP.
General Description of Duties
Child and Youth Care Workers (CYCW) work directly with students who are experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioural needs. In collaboration with school and board personnel, they assess the needs of students and develop, implement and support appropriate intervention plans.
