About the Role
Fort McKay First Nation is seeking a motivated individual with a positive attitude to fill the position of Custodian. The Custodian performs heavy cleaning duties, including, but not limited to, cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, cleaning furniture, removing rubbish and disinfecting high contact surfaces. This is a permanent full-time role located at our Elsie Fabian School.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
- Disinfect high contact surfaces with appropriate cleaners.
- Gather and empty garbage at designated locations ensuring security away from rodents and larger animals.
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
