Job Description
- Install, configure and maintain all supported database software (Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server) on prem and in Azure cloud-based High Availability environments
- Execute and support database migration initiatives from on-premises environments to:
- Azure SQL Database
- Azure SQL Managed Instance (MI)
- Design and implement cloud-native High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions to ensure that business service-level agreements are met
- Implement automated deployment and configuration management using Infrastructure-as-Code (, ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep)
- Develop and maintain automated backup, recovery, and monitoring solutions
- Perform advanced performance tuning and cost optimization in Azure environments
