Staffmax is assisting our client in hiring a 3‑Ton Truck Driver for a 4‑month contract. This is a delivery role based in the city, with consistent hours and an emphasis on customer service, safety, and timely transportation.
Contract length: 4 months
Location: Montreal, QC
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a 3‑ton truck to deliver goods to various locations
- Load and unload materials using equipment or by hand
- Ensure cargo is secure and properly balanced
- Follow a delivery schedule and complete route sheets
- Communicate with dispatch and customers during deliveries
- Perform daily pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle and appearance
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Experience driving a 3‑ton or similar delivery truck
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use loading tools
