Summary The Staff Dentist will function as a general dentist, practicing the full range of professional dental procedures in connection with the treatment of commonly encountered dental diseases or dental health problems. He/she will be responsible for the overall dental care of patients, to include consultative services in both the inpatient and outpatient settings at the LTC Charles S. Kettles VA Medical Center. Responsibilities VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package. Dentists are charged with oral assessment and provision of oral healthcare services and patient education. The dentists provide clinical leadership and are responsible for overseeing the conduct and performance of designated ancillary staff performing certain delegated procedures. These auxiliaries include dental assistants, dental hygienists, dental laboratory technicians and clerical staff.
