Purpose of Position
Accountable for all Digital, Information Management, IT / OT activities within Tunisia Branch Office.
Responsible for planning and controlling all associated budgets & actuals.
Responsible as local BSI for evaluation , submission and follow-up of business demands through the entire delivery lifecycle
Responsible for OT security compliance of OMV Tunisia plants with OMV OT security regulations.
Responsible for remote operations requirement availability (PI system, Vendor Remote Access)
Key Responsibilities:
1.Contributes to the global digital strategy, supports the business and IT Corporate or Business Service Integrator BSI to define specific business digital strategies, and facilitates the implementation of these strategies into operations
2. Consults business by clarifying requirements and shaping demand to ensure architectural fit, coordinating creation of potential solutions. Turns strategic digital topics and ideas into robust initiatives/projects/actions. Ensure proper transformation of demand into projects and operations.
3. Pro-actively identifies and implements innovation and improvement ideas throughout the Business. Verifies fit between business requirements and project deliverables and acts as escalation point for business stakeholder if needed. Measures customer satisfaction and acts as escalation point, if necessary.
4. Enables robust planning and cost controls for all owned Digital/IT/OT/IM budgets, while managing the demand in strong cooperation with Finance Management. Incorporates budgetary requirements based on the identified demand and strategic roadmap.
5. Act as the single point of contact for E&P business in a given domain from the idea, to the demand, project maturation and hand-over into the service organization
6. Act as Integrator to optimize between individual business demand and OMV group interests Optimize application solutions (Principles: Integration, Managed Service, evergreen portfolio optimization)
7. Responsible for ensuring adequate IT, OT and Information Management systems and processes are in place to support HSSE, Emergency Management and Business Continuity
8. Responsible for ensuring the compliance of OMV Tunisia plants with OMV IT and OT security regulations by conducting regularly security assessments to identify gaps and mitigate them.
9. Lead OT teams across OMV plants towards delivering real time operations services such production surveillance , machine monitoring and vendor secure remote access, in a secure way.
10. Manage jointly with operation teams the Industrial Control Systems' vendors to ensure secure and efficient maintenance services of the OT environment in the plants
11. Responsible for providing technical leadership and direct support in the execution and delivery of the IT/OT projects in Tunisia
12. Commercial owner for all Branch Office specific applications, and IT related services
13. Mentor, manage and develop the Digital Excellence team, to support them in their overall performance and development in expertise, capabilities, experience, domain knowledge, digital technologies
14. Enforces local adherence to Digital Governance directives, standards and processes
15. Enforces local adherence to Information and Data governance processes, standards and group wide data protection requirements.
16. Manages relationships and communication towards business, IT Corporate and other Hubs in strong alignment with Strategy and Portfolio Management. Manages interface to delivery and vendors from demand point of view.
17. Manages the digital project/initiatives portfolio, defines performance indicators and supports implementation of digital project/initiatives portfolio, incl. proof of Concept, knowledge source for game changing technologies, link to start ups, digital culture and method spread.
18. Manages the continuous change and transformation, establishes continuous improvement processes / environment by analyzing key business challenges and defining concepts for solution. Develops competences and best-practice toolkit to succeed in major change initiatives. Establishes and enables continuous improvement processes / environment in the area of Digital.
19. Continuously strives for operational excellence by challenging the status quo as well as existing routines and behaviors by monitoring and analyzing current business operations identifying gaps, potential synergies and major pain points developing new improvement ideas to optimize business organizations, processes and systems 20. Facilitating the cross-BU knowledge exchange to build and maintain best-practice know-how.
