Responsibilities
- Lead the department, act as a coach, mentor, and resource while fostering a positive team environment focused on Always Customer First service.
- Ensure department executes and achieves operational excellence through customer experience, health and safety, food safety, and merchandising.
- Engage and retain team members through training, rewards/recognition, and succession planning.
- Support team member related initiatives (performance management, administration of collective agreement terms if applicable, and conflict resolution).
- Communicate key messages and business objectives to team members, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
