Responsibilities
- Design and build high-quality software across the full stack.
- Expand and enhance Ashby's in-house design system to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Develop reusable, composable UI components to enable other engineers to build custom features.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate customer needs into product specifications.
- Improve information hierarchy and usability of complex product screens.
- Mentor and support teammates in design and coding best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong experience building UI components with TypeScript and React.
- Proficiency with GraphQL, Node.js, Postgres, and Redis.
- Background in designing and building scalable, data‑intensive applications.
