Detective Constable - Prolific Offender Team
JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Sergeant of the Prolific Offender Team, the Detective Constable conducts complex investigations targeting prolific and high-impact offenders involved in serial property crime, drug offences, violence, and related criminal activity. The Detective Constable works within an intelligence-led enforcement framework to identify, monitor, and disrupt repeat offending behaviour that significantly impacts community safety. Investigations may involve property offences, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences, robbery, weapons-related offences, extortions, and elements of organized crime. The role requires strong investigative skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage dynamic enforcement operations while ensuring compliance with legislation, policy, and disclosure obligations.
