Step into the skies as a DHC-8 Captain. Lead with professionalism, ensuring safe and efficient flight operations while prioritizing an exceptional passenger experience.
As a Captain, you’ll command the DHC-8, adhering to CARs Subpart 705 and company SOPs. This role emphasizes preflight planning, crew coordination, and sound decision-making during challenging conditions. You’ll also mentor First Officers and contribute to ongoing safety improvements through debriefs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Command the DHC-8 in compliance with regulations
• Ensure crew professionalism and passenger satisfaction
• Manage preflight assessments, including weather and fuel
• Collaborate closely with First Officers and ground staff
• Exercise judgment during operational irregularities
Requirements:
• TCCA ATPL and Class 1 Medical required
• Minimum Level 4 English Proficiency as per ICAO
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must clear all transportation security checks
