The Dietitian-Diabetes Program is a member of a multidisciplinary health care team and provides nutrition care and support to clients living with all types of diabetes in accordance with established policies, standards, and procedures.
Utilizing and applying advanced knowledge and experience in relevant clinical techniques such as insulin dose adjustment, the Dietitian-Diabetes Program provides nutrition services through:
- nutrition assessment
- care planning and charting
- intervention, client goal setting and monitoring
