Overview
As a Dimensional Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the precision, accuracy, and quality control of dimensional specifications for automotive parts at TI Automotive. You will apply engineering principles to ensure that parts meet the required design tolerances and fitment standards throughout the manufacturing process. Strong problem-solving abilities, proficiency in 3D CAD software, and a deep understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) are essential.
Job Responsibilities
- Dimensional Analysis: Perform dimensional analysis of automotive parts and assemblies using measurement tools and equipment, such as CMM, laser scanners, and optical measurement systems.
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing: Interpret and apply GD&T standards to evaluate and verify dimensional quality, ensuring uniformity and consistency in product development and manufacturing processes.
