Role Summary
The Director of the Montreal Roasting Plant plays a key role in the site’s overall performance. They provide both strategic and operational leadership across all production, maintenance, quality, and health & safety activities, working closely with supply chain leaders. Leading a team of more than 450 employees, nearly 400 of whom are unionized—the incumbent drives their teams toward operational excellence, continuous improvement, and a strong culture focused on performance, collaboration, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the definition and execution of the overall operational strategy for Canada.
- Provide engaging leadership across production, maintenance, quality, and health & safety functions.
- Translate strategic priorities into clear short- and long-term operational objectives.
- Define, drive, and achieve performance targets related to productivity, quality, cost, and operational health.
