Director of Controls Engineering – London, Ontario
Reporting to the Vice President & General Manager, this role ensures technical excellence, on‑time delivery, budget adherence and effective people leadership across multiple locations, industries, and projects. It involves managing resources, prioritization, capacity planning, and meeting group chargeability targets.
Key Responsibilities
Functional & Technical Leadership
- Accountable for achieving controls engineering department targets aligned with business metrics.
- Accountable for the controls department’s project execution, including scope, budgets, and on‑time delivery.
- Represent controls engineering in senior leadership discussions and business reviews.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex technical challenges, project risks, and cross‑site operational challenges with strategic plans and follow‑through.
