Job Description

The research group Meat Technology and Science of Protein-rich Foods (MTSP) is part of the Science and Technology Group (Department of Microbial and Molecular Systems (M2S), Division of Food and Microbial Technology) at KU Leuven, Campus Ghent, and has expertise in the processing and analysis of protein-rich food products such as meat and fish products, vegetarian or vegan meat alternatives and analogues. The research group is equipped with a well-developed pilot infrastructure for processing all types of meat products and their alternatives, as well as a fully equipped analytical laboratory.

Responsibilities


The full-time position comprises teaching duties (50%) and research activities (50%) within the field of food chemistry and/or food process engineering, in particular in the application domain of protein-rich foods.
