Job Description
The Many‑Body Theory group at Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences specializes in computational studies of solid‑state physics, particularly the quantum nuclear effects on the electronic structure of solids. The group is part of the Theory Program of the Helsinki Institute of Physics and is supported by CSC – IT Center for Science.
We are seeking a doctoral researcher to develop an in‑house program package and conduct large‑scale computations to investigate quantum nuclear effects in realistic solid materials.

Qualifications
- Internationally recognized master's degree in physics, mathematics, computer science, chemistry, or a related field, ideally with a focus on computational condensed matter physics.
