Become a Downtown Engagement Champion at the Brandon Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation. Support a vibrant community atmosphere while assisting downtown visitors!
The BNRC is hiring five Downtown Engagement Champions to foster community vitality in the downtown area. Under the guidance of the Community Development Coordinator, you will engage with residents and facilitate economic development while creating a safe and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include active community participation and hosting engaging workshops.
Key Responsibilities:
• Walk extensively to promote community presence in downtown
• Facilitate workshops and small gatherings to engage locals
• Maintain garden planters and improve urban beautification
• Provide assistance and information to visitors around town
• Collaborate with and promote downtown businesses
