A Snapshot of Your Day This position is accountable for repairing, installing, and inspecting electronics or electronic systems as directed through verbal or written directions, diagrams, drawings, or specifications. It also maintains and makes necessary operating adjustments to the organization’s electronic systems. Planning, performing, and reporting on drivetrain (gearbox, main shaft, main bearing, generator bearings, etc.) inspections and repairs. This position is also accountable for troubleshooting for all components associated with the drivetrain (pumps, fans, sensors, etc.). 95% travel site‑work‑related is required. The mechanical specialist will interface with clients and manage small crews on a regular basis. Position also includes performing blade inspections, both external and internal, and could also report & assist O&M during periods of downtime or travel to assist other jobs within the Advanced Maintenance team.
