Earth Science Lab and Field Coordinator
The Earth Science Laboratory Coordinator position is an integral role in supporting student learning, teaching, and research activities in both laboratory and field settings. The Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operational needs of one or more laboratories and workshops, coordinating and managing logistics for field trips and field‑based learning activities, and attending trips that range from single‑day outings to week‑long trips.
The Coordinator ensures the safe and effective use, maintenance, inventory, and readiness of laboratory, field, and analytical equipment and instruments across the Earth Sciences facilities. They provide instruction and demonstrations on laboratory techniques, experimental procedures, field methods, and safety protocols.
