To plan, coordinate and implement the Health and Safety activities for the Toronto Biosolid and Toronto SSO plants in order to strengthen the safety culture of the 3 plants, improve employee safety, mitigate the Company’s risk and to meet all regulatory requirements. This position is a regular presence on site and works collaboratively to support the operation teams in achieving Environmental compliance and Health and Safety Excellence.
The duties of the EHS Manager (Field) are as follows, but not limited to:
- Plans, coordinates and implements all activities specific to the Occupational Health and Safety Program for the site. Program includes hazard recognition and control, accident and incident reporting, investigations, and the development and implementation of OHS controls.
- Ensures the Toronto plants site compliance with Veolia corporate safety policies and procedures through development of site specific procedures.
