Summary
The Electrical Engineer III – Electrical Engineering provides engineering/conceptual and detailed designs of utility‑scale renewable power plants (wind & solar) and battery storage systems. Aids in operations support renewable power generation projects and supports the development, engineering, and construction of projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review preliminary and detailed design of AC (Low, Medium, and High Voltage) and DC systems, including PV power blocks and MV AC collection systems.
- Develop models of the AC substation and collection systems; perform and review Load Flow and Short Circuit analyses, DC and AC loss calculations, cable ampacity studies, and AC/DC cable sizing.
