Join as a Full Time Elementary Counselor starting September 1, 2026, at JS Clark, GW Carlson, and RL Angus. Focus on providing essential counseling services to support student mental health.
This full-time role supports roughly 350 students across three elementary schools. You'll collaborate with principals, teachers, and parents for effective intervention and student success. Your responsibilities will include delivering group and individual counseling, participating in IEP meetings, and providing case management for students needing special attention.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer direct counseling to individual and group of students
• Work with staff to cultivate healthy classroom settings
• Join weekly meetings to discuss student support needs
• Lead IEP meetings and maintain accurate student records
• Help develop intervention plans with teachers and parents

• Must possess a valid BC Teaching certificate
