Become an integral part of the Emergency Department at Hennick Humber Hospital as an RN focused on results management. This temporary full-time position is dedicated to enhancing patient care through effective diagnostic follow-ups.
In your role as a Results Expediter, you will ensure the timely review and communication of diagnostic findings for discharged patients. Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary emergency team, escalate significant results, and educate patients about their follow-up care. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes and reducing return visits.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and monitor diagnostic results for discharged patients
• Identify and escalate abnormal findings for physician review
• Collaborate to coordinate patient follow-up care
