As a Resource Options Planning Engineer, you will report directly to the Generation System & Supply Options Studies Section Head. This role emphasizes your ability to lead integrated planning studies, update scheduling frameworks, and manage team collaboration to effectively integrate new energy resources into the existing infrastructure at Manitoba Hydro.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead studies on renewable energy resource integration
• Update planning concepts, costs, and timelines
• Direct cross-functional project team activities
• Conduct economic analyses and risk assessments
• Document findings in technical reports and memoranda
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• Seven years of relevant engineering experience
