5+ years of experience as a software engineer working on distributed systems in Python, Java, Kotlin, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript , 3+ years of experience managing engineers, ideally on small, fast-moving squads , Clear communication, a bias toward action, and the ability to navigate ambiguity , A track record of building resilient systems and leading teams through scaling challenges , Comfortable working in our stack or learning quickly: Java/Python/Go, React, Postgres, AWS, Kubernetes , (Desirable) Experience with backend development , Tech you’ll work with: , Backend: Java, Python, Kotlin, Postgres , Frontend: React/Redux , DevOps: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Prometheus, Honeycomb , Data: Redshift, Airflow, Looker What the job involves
