FUNCTION
The Environmental Site Officer will be responsible to support environmental licensing activities at field level (organization of public participation meetings, mobilization of authorities and consultants to site, for the purpose of environmental licensing, etc.); monitor Project EMP implementation; prepare daily environmental performance and projects progress briefings as required; conduct daily site environmental inspections; assist site environmental manager in driving environmentally sound practices across site; participate and provide inputs in incidents investigations; identify environmental deviations and non-conformances and propose and help implement corrective plans; participate in and provide inputs for internal & external audits; support implementation of environmental awareness programs; interface with different Project Managers on environmental compliance /...
