Estimator (Transmission)
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, the Estimator (Transmission) will accurately estimate the cost of labor, equipment, and materials for supply and installation, and will manage preparation and documentation of work completion estimates for transmission construction projects.
Open across Canada locations: Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Abbotsford.
Responsibilities
- Shared accountability for the overall financial performance of projects awarded.
- Analyze documents, specifications, proposals, and addendums for pricing.
- Perform estimate‑related oral and written communications with clients.
- Review project sites prior to price preparation.
- Collaborate effectively with Operations, PMO, and owner staff as appropriate.
- Obtain inputs from Operations staff as needed.
- Perform quantity take‑off from construction drawings where applicable.
