Work Site Environment
Dry pea and bean farming, oilseed (except soybean) farming, other grain farming, other miscellaneous crop farming, wheat farming. Dusty, hot, odours, grain, oil and forage crop.
Responsibilities
- Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas.
- Cut agricultural crops.
- Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks.
- Mix fertilizer.
- Organize tasks to accomplish the work.
- Shear and shape trees and plants with a knife.
- Apply soil fertility programs.
- Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
