What is the Opportunity?
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Field Engineer will provide field‑engineering information to the project management team and sub‑trades to ensure construction works comply with all design drawings, engineering standards, codes and specifications. This opportunity is for the Deerfoot Trail Improvements Project in Calgary, consisting of seven new bridges and additional lanes, ramps and interchanges.
What You'll Do Here
- Meet daily with project crews to review production schedule and ensure materials, equipment and resources are available to keep production on schedule and within budget.
- Collect, coordinate and analyze shop drawings, design specifications, material requirements and project data to ensure quality and contract specification compliance.
