Job Description
The Hybrid Field Technician supports both the beginning and end of the residential solar installation pipeline by performing site assessments prior to installation, inspections post-install, and other lone worker and team field work as needed for the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customer homes to collect detailed measurements, photographs, and structural/electrical data required for solar design.
- Accurately assess roof conditions, electrical service panels, and property features using standardized tools and protocols.
- Climb ladders, walk rooftops, and conduct attic inspections as required.
- Submit all survey data in a timely, complete, and accurate manner using mobile field tools.
- Perform post-installation inspection visits to ensure project readiness for final AHJ inspection or utility approval.
