Job Description
Our client, a large financial institution, is seeking an Senior Financial Analyst for a 6-month contract opportunity, with high potential for extension.
This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence 2-3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, and one floating day) at the downtown office. The role supports the Finance Controllership team with a focus on financial reporting integrity, loan accounting, and complex accounting investigations.
Responsibilities
- Execute detailed loan contract accounting reviews
- Perform financial analysis and provide variance explanations
- Investigate accounting and control-related issues
- Support reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Ensure integrity of financial reporting and control environment
- Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes
Must-Have Requirements
- 4+ years of experience within financial services institutions
