Position Summary
This role specifies, designs, codes, integrates, tests and debugs firmware. The candidate possesses expert knowledge of digital control algorithms on a variety of platforms for switch‑mode power conversion equipment. The position collaborates closely with power electronic engineers and provides support to implement their features, while also delivering technical and process‑improvement feedback to software development and engineering teams.
Specific Duties
- Designs and implements digital control algorithms and embedded firmware for battery chargers and power converters using DSPs and MCUs.
- Develops and tunes feedback control loops (voltage, current, and power) to ensure system stability, dynamic response, and regulation accuracy.
- Implements and optimizes low‑level driver code for peripherals such as ADC, PWM, DAC, PLL, comparators, SPI, I2C, CAN, and UART.
