Job Description
Overview The purpose of the Reliability Engineer at Celanese Canada ULC is to support all maintenance activities at the Edmonton facility. The purpose of the Maintenance Engineer is to minimize equipment downtime whenever possible through maintenance support. The Maintenance Engineer is to uphold the continued and improved safety of all maintenance activities. The Maintenance Engineer is to ensure equipment is maintained in the safest way possible to ensure the mechanical integrity of process handling equipment.
Responsibilities
Provide support to maintenance technicians, planners, schedulers, and supervisors in all maintenance activities. Examples include performing calculations, developing equipment repair scope, ensuring timely equipment repair, and creating equipment repair documentation.
