Job Summary:
The Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) will provide care for patients as part of a multidisciplinary team within an aero medical transport setting. The ACP will work as part of the Air Medical Crew (AMC) which could be an Critical Care Nurse (RN) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), supplemented with the presence of an Online Medical Control (OLMC) Physician to provide high quality care and service, which includes rapid response assessment, intervention, and safe transport of ill or injured patients of all age categories during inter-facility transfer.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited/recognized diploma or degree program in health care or an equivalent combination of advanced training and experience that provides the necessary theoretical and clinical skills to perform at the level of Advanced Care Paramedic
