Please note this is a grade one position. Teachers do not instruct any courses in the Islamic Program. The successful candidate will teach ELA, SS, Math, Science, and other classes listed in the Alberta Education Programs of Study.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education
- Is aware and supports the Fort McMurray Islamic School's Education Vision document and mission statement.
- A child-centered approach to instruction and teacher/student relationships.
- Effective organizational skills and classroom management.
- A strong knowledge of the curriculum and teaching experience in division 1 or division 2
