Position Summary
The Furniture Repair Technician 1 repairs, restores, and inspects merchandise that has been damaged or has manufacturer defects. Will work inside the shop or on the dock ensuring outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
Position Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Identify repair needed and follow standard operating procedures to repair based upon the need
- Demonstrate proficiency in repairing at least one of the following
- Achieve 80% restock to first quality
- Identify proper quality disposition of furniture after inspection
- Have clear understanding and experience with product assembly
- Utilize proper lifting techniques
- Able to operate radio frequency equipment
- Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA standards
