Garden Worker
The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
Manage WWC’s in-house Food Sovereignty initiative, ensuring alignment with Woodland Cree traditional practices and healing objectives;Plan and manage the growth of traditional medicines, vegetables, and other plants within the greenhouse and garden;Develop and deliver educational workshops for participants, teaching them gardening skills and fostering a connection to the land;Collaborate with participants and staff to integrate gardening as part of the healing journey and promote sustainable living practices;Facilitate to maintain the Greenhouse infrastructure and ensure its operation aligns with the WWC’s goals;
