Terus Construction, a division of Colas Western Canada Inc., is seeking a General Accountant in Surrey, BC.
Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the accountant will support the Finance department and work closely with the Head Office Accounting Team to ensure all transactions are processed in a timely and professional manner.
The role involves handling highly confidential information in compliance with local privacy legislation and company policy.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Senior Accountant to process transactions as directed.
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial close, reporting, and general ledger reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and submit weekly reports as needed.
- Assist with monthly and year‑end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications.
