Join Royal Inland Hospital as a General Adult Psychiatrist, offering dedicated psychiatric care in a 26-bed inpatient unit alongside community-based mental health services.
This position comprises 0.6 Full Time Equivalent at RIH and 0.4 FTE at Hillside Acute Psychiatric Centre. You'll provide comprehensive psychiatric care, conduct consults across medical units, and engage actively in community services such as Early Psychosis Intervention and Intensive Case Management. Teaching opportunities for medical students and residents are also a key part of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver psychiatric care for RIH’s inpatient unit
• Consult on medical/surgical units and the Emergency Department
• Participate in community mental health services including counseling
