Summary This position is established in a Regional or Subregional Office of the General Counsel and reports directly to the Regional Director or to their designee. The Senior Attorney is responsible for handling large, high profile, or extremely complex investigations and litigation of both unfair labor practice and representation cases at all stages of processing and/or other difficult assignments as assigned. Responsibilities As a General Attorney (Labor) (Senior Field Attorney), GS-0905-15, your typical work assignments may include: Collecting and reviewing relevant evidence in the electronic case file, including affidavits, position statements and other correspondence, memos, transcripts, decisional documents, exhibits, decisions and orders. Conducting research and case review to formulate strategies on cases that are often novel, without precedent, and/or require considerable interpretation of law, and demand a high degree of original and creative legal endeavor.
