DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (FIELD STAFF)

The below listed duties and responsibilities are typical but not comprehensive. Other similar duties and responsibilities are as required and as directed. Duties and responsibilities of lower grade employees in the same career track are assumed by the incumbent when subordinate personnel are not available.

Directly fulfill or ensure that subordinate personnel fulfill duties 1 through 6; directly fulfill duties 7 through 11 as follows:

1. Inspect construction operations to ensure that work activities conform to all applicable provisions, specifications, other contract documents, required approved submittals, and accepted good construction practice. Utilize survey equipment, other measuring tools, carpenter's or smart levels, etc. to confirm construction is to required dimensions, line, and grade and to quantify accepted work.
