This role involves performing a variety of physically demanding general labor tasks in a large manufacturing facility located in northwest Calgary. You support production operations both inside the plant and outdoors in the yard by handling heavy materials, operating basic equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. The position requires consistent heavy lifting, comfort working in all weather conditions, and the ability to contribute effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the shift, both inside the plant and outdoors in the yard.
+ Operate production machinery under guidance to help it run consistently and efficiently.
+ Shrink wrap finished products and prepare them for shipment by loading and unloading items by hand.
