Job Description
We are seeking a skilled General Machinist to join our client's team. Under the supervision of the APC Supervisor, the position performs a variety of operation functions, including manufacturing/machining of high temperature rollers, endless belting, and fabrication/construction.
Qualifications
- Completion of High School
- Post‑secondary education in machining is an asset
Knowledge
- Hands‑on experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly
- Proficient in math
- Proficient in computers and working within ERP systems
- Working knowledge of health and safety protocols when operating lathes and milling machinery
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent coordination and mechanical skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
