Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) license; Provisional Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA); Mandatory Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC); Eligible.
We are seeking a General Pathologist (AP/CP) to join our 4.8 FTE pathology team at Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH).
PRH is a 158‑bed Acute Care facility in the Okanagan Health Service Area. It provides core medical and surgical specialty services to a population of approximately 90,000 people, with 24‑hour Emergency and Trauma Services, Acute Services, Ambulatory and Out‑patient Clinics, and Diagnostic/Paramedical Services.
The department performs approximately 10,000 surgical pathology cases per year, 100 bone marrow biopsies per year, 500 cytopathology cases per year, and 50 autopsy cases per year. The pathology team also conducts quality assurance activities and teaches medical and laboratory students.
