Assignment Length: Ongoing coverage need Start Date: August 5 Openings: 1 Reason for Coverage: Long-term permanent search Practice Setting: OR coverage General Surgery is the highest priority however Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Urology and ENT may need coverage as well Average 90-110 cases per week, 10-30 cases per day Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-4:30p Rotating weekend coverage No call coverage required Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric EMR: EPIC Credentialing: 60 days Requirements: Active Georgia licensure Board certification AHA BLS certification Minimum 1-year General Surgery experience or equivalent Job Responsibilities (Generalized): Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
